Pro-theatre-2006 takes place on 8 and 9 April, 2006 at the Meyerhold Centre in the framework of the Special Programme of the Golden Mask Festival. The exhibition is organized with the objective to create new opportunities for theatres to expose themselves to Russian and internati onal producers, programmers, other theatre professionals. All Russian theatre companies without exception were invited for participation. Altogether 58 theatres will take part in the exhibition representing 32 cities and towns of a wide geographical spectrum. With Pro-theatre-2006 exhibition the Golden Mask Festival attains to create a new platform for discovering and presenting theatre projects, exchanging experiences, expanding touring opportunities and establishing professional contacts with potential partners. For two days in April Pro-theatre-2006 will become the venue for unofficial communication, an exciting theatre fair and a meeting point for theatre directors, producers, managers, critics and mass media.
