Konstantin Bogomolov
Konstantin Bogomolov, born in 1975 in Moscow, a graduate of the philological faculty, Moscow State University; in 2003 he graduated from the Russian Theatre Art Academy where he was a student of the famous Russian theatre director Andrei Goncharov. Since 2019 he has been artistic director at the Theatre on Malaya Bronnaya, Moscow. Some of Bogomolov’s major works as a director at various theatres include: “Wonderland-80” Tabakov Theatre, Moscow; “The Elder Son” Tabakov Theatre, Moscow; “Lear” Priyut Komediantov, St. Petersburg; “The Year When I Wasn`t Born” Tabakov Theatre, Moscow; “An Ideal Husband. Comedy” Moscow Art Theatre; “Boris Godunov” Lenkom Theatre, Moscow; “The Prince” Lenkom Theatre, Moscow; “Central Park West” Moscow Art Theatre; “Gargantua And Pantagruel”, Theatre of Nations, Moscow; “The Karamazovs” Moscow Art Theatre; “The Jeweler`s Jubilee” Moscow Art Theatre; “The Dragon” Moscow Art Theatre; “Glory” Bolshoi Drama Theatre, St. Petersburg; “The Musketeers” Moscow Art Theatre; “Husbands And Wives” Moscow Art Theatre; “Three Sisters” Moscow Art Theatre; “Il Trionfo Del Tempo E Del Disinganno” Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre, Moscow; “The Magic Mountain” Stanislavsky Electrotheatre, Moscow, name but a few. He also staged some plays abroad: “Stavanger. Pulp People” Liepāja Theatre, Latvia; “My Father is Agamemnonas” Maly Theatre of Vilnius, Lithuania; “Lyod” National Theatre of Warsaw, Poland; “Platonov” Stary Theatre in Krakow, Poland. In various years Konstantin Bogomolov has been a nominee and winner of the Golden Mask National Theatre Award. His production of THREE SISTERS, Moscow Art Theatre, was nominated for the Golden Mask National Theatre Award 2019 and “Crime and Punishment” Priyut Komedianta Theatre, St. Petersburg - for the Golden Mask 2020.
