GOBO. A DIGITAL GLOSSARY

Moscow’s audiences have known the artists and inventors of the synthetic theatre of Pavel Semchenko and Maxim Isaev for a long time. Spectators have even learnt to understand the subtleties of their intricate, but incredibly striking and effective art. The Russian Engineering Theatre AKHE originates from the vanguard of Petersburg’s past, where the marginal groups exploded at the height of the 1990s – with rockers and river-artists, Timur Novikov’s pupils and Sergei Kurekhin’s fans.
